Celebrating Our Anniversary as a Living Wage Employer

We’re proud to announce that we are celebrating another anniversary as an accredited Living Wage Employer — reaffirming our commitment to fair pay and the wellbeing of our team.

Accredited by the Living Wage Foundation, this recognition means we voluntarily pay the real Living Wage, which is independently calculated each year based on the true cost of living. It goes beyond the government minimum and reflects what people need to meet everyday expenses.

Since becoming accredited, we have remained committed to ensuring that everyone who works with us is valued and fairly rewarded. We believe that paying the real Living Wage is not only the right thing to do — it also helps create a motivated, dedicated workforce that can thrive both professionally and personally.

Being a Living Wage Employer aligns with our core values of fairness, respect, and opportunity. It demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supporting our staff, strengthening our community, and contributing to a more equitable local economy.

We would like to thank our incredible team for their hard work, passion, and dedication. This anniversary is not just about recognising a milestone — it’s about celebrating the people who make our organisation what it is every day.

We look forward to continuing our journey as a Living Wage Employer and to championing fair pay for years to come.

Understanding the difference between wage rates is key. The Government’s Minimum Wage applies to younger workers, while the National Living Wage sets the legal minimum for those aged 21 and over. Both are statutory requirements.

The Real Living Wage, however, goes further. It is the only rate based on the actual cost of living — independently calculated to reflect what people need to cover essentials like rent, food and bills. It is voluntary, but it makes a life-changing difference.
