A number of Civil Service roles are customer facing, gaining your Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service skill set will support your application.

Coaching & Mentoring

Civil Service programme attached with a Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring. Perfect for those looking for caseworker roles.

Looking to develop your employment potential this programme will get you ready for work whilst developing your knowledge of the application process.

Our offer, delivered in our hybrid learning environment includes Coaching and Mentoring, Customer Service, Management and Employability.

We are continually refining our offer to meet the demands of the ever-evolving job market—all with the intent of upskilling our learners ensuring they gain the qualifications while having the best learning experience, overall reducing unemployment nationally.

Customer Service

Our programme is full time over the course of 15 week days covering the Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service. You will attend tutorials and masterclasses daily to affirm learning.

The course is structured in 5 easy to follow steps

1. Initiation Phase – ensuring it is right course for you going through IAG

2. Onboarding Project – fun interactive project embedding learning throughout

3. On Program Group Work – ongoing project work whilst completing course elements which include knowledge and skill based tasks

4. Course completion – finalising all work and completing feedback and actions

5. Support with your chosen Progression Route – end of course aftercare to identify next steps

Coaching & Mentoring

During this programme you will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring. The structure of the course is made up of tutorials and masterclasses delivered over 22 consecutive week days.

The course is structured in 5 easy to follow steps

1. Initiation Phase – ensuring it is right course for you going through IAG

2. Onboarding Project – fun interactive project embedding learning throughout

3. On Program Group Work – ongoing project work whilst completing course elements which include knowledge and skill based tasks

4. Course completion – finalising all work and completing feedback and actions

5. Support with your chosen Progression Route – end of course aftercare to identify next steps

Employability

Over 12 week days you will improve your employment prospects whilst also developing your understanding of the Civil Service application process. You will attend daily tutorials and masterclasses to support your learning.

Am I eligible to join?

To be eligible for our Hybrid Learning programmes, you must be over the age of 19, in receipt of benefits, and be based within the funding area of the programme. Information on whether you are based in the right area can be given on an individual basis during the enrolment process.

How are they delivered?

Hybrid Learning programmes are delivered through a blend of video conferencing seminars, tutorials and support sessions all tailored to the individual.

How long to the programmes last?

Most programmes are 10 days, and run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with two video classroom sessions each day. Once the programme has ended, there will be ongoing support through our Aftercare programme.
