Arthur White – Hartlepool

Arthur had an active career as an aircraft mechanic for 9 years, then in various security roles for 20 years. after some time off work to care for a family member Arthur found it difficult to get back onto the job market.

Throughout the course I enjoyed the opportunity to do things I wouldn’t normally get the chance to do. During the first two days of the course I put myself forward for the photography team, I worked alongside a professional photographer capturing images of the local area which I really enjoyed.

During the classroom I was able to practice my interview skills which I believed helped me to secure a job. “The Returneeship gave me the confidence to get out and look for work”. I am now employed at a local restaurant and my new employer believes I performed the best interview. I am now using the IT skills I learnt from the course as part of my new which i am thoroughly enjoying.
